THIS TOURNAMENT IS FOR DALLAS NORTH TEAMS AND PLAYERS ONLY. 

REMEMBER, PER NORTH TEXAS RULES  ALL PLAYERS ON THE DNSA ROSTERED
TEAM MUST BE INVITED TO EACH 4X4 TOURNAMENT THE TEAM PARTICIPATES IN.

Registration Fee is $70 per team.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION

• 4 on 4 is Fun. Like indoor soccer, 4 on 4 requires quickness, precise passing, and durability. The action is nonstop and the scoring is often. And this tournament is played outside on natural grass. So it's like spending an afternoon with your friends, doing what you like to do, playing soccer.
• 4 on 4 is Fair. Teams will be divided into brackets according to age and ability when possible. All teams will be guaranteed a minimum of three games. NTSSA criteria for U-6 and U-8 divisions does not allow a playoff system. U-6 and U-8 will compete for participation awards only.
• 4 on 4 is rewarding.  All players U-6 and U-8 will receive participation awards. Winners and runners up will receive awards in all other divisions, plus all players get a free official tournament T-shirt.
• 4 on 4 is for everyone.  Players from age 5 to 16 can enter the Sidekicks/Dr Pepper 4 on 4. Coaches can sign up two or three teams from their current roster, and parents can share in the excitement by coaching or assisting. But if you don't play soccer, come anyway. It's a great game to watch, with the nonstop action on the field, demonstrations by the Sidekicks, shooting clinics, and skill tests such as the Sidekick Shootout. But that's not all; participants get a free Sidekicks 4 on 4 T-shirt. Make a day of it. There will be lots of good food and drink available.

Dallas Sidekicks 4 on 4 Tournament rules:

1. Teams must be comprised of players from one current outdoor official NTSSA roster. The 4 on 4 is classified as a "NTSSA Special Event", therefore No Guest Players, No Indoor Roster.

2. Pick a name for your team. Please include the coach's name in case we receive two or more entries with the same name. Teams may have the same name, and will be classified as I, II & III (i.e. Sidekicks I, Sidekicks II & Sidekicks III).

3. Players can only play on one team per event in Dallas Sidekicks 4 on 4.

4. All teams with a minimum of one male will be played in a boys division.

5. Only four players from each five member team will be allowed on the field at any one time. The fifth player will be available for free substitution. If a player is absent from the event, a team may elect to play with only three players, however, a team may not play with fewer than three players.

6. Players may be substituted only when play stops. No substitutions allowed during running play. All players must play at least half the game.

7. Winners and runners - up in age division under - 10 through under -16 will receive awards. All players in age divisions 6 and under and 8 and under will receive participation awards.

8. Field Size: 80ft. in length and 70ft. in width for U-6 to U-12. 100ft. in length and 80ft. in width for U-13 to U-16.

9. No goalkeeper will be used in any game.

10. The size of the goal will be 3' x 5'

11. Players may not enter the penalty zone which is an 8 ft. semicircle for U-6- U-12 and 10 ft. semicircle for U-13 - U-16.

12. All soccer balls will be size 4.

13. The ball must be kept below three feet at all times.

14. One referee will officiate each game. The referee will call fouls and keep the time. All referee decisions are final except for the ineligible player.

15. A complete set of rules will be online.

16. Tournament may warrant Sunday play, depending on weather conditions.

17. As per NTSSA & DNSA rules, all players on outdoor roster must be invited to play.
